Multi-wire saws are widely used for precision cutting of hard and brittle materials, including photovoltaic silicon wafers, NdFeB magnetic materials, semiconductor silicon and silicon carbide wafers, sapphire, optical glass, and ceramics. During the cutting process, wire tension stability directly affects slicing quality, yield rate, and material loss, making the drive system a critical factor in maintaining stable tension.

Our HN Series Permanent Magnet Servo Motors are mainly applied to four key positions: the pay-off reel, pay-off dancer arm, take-up dancer arm, and take-up reel. Through high-precision speed control, closed-loop torque control, and dynamic tension compensation, they ensure stable constant-tension operation. Compared with traditional induction motors and mechanical tension control systems, they effectively reduce tension fluctuations, minimizing wire breakage, wire marks, and wafer warpage.

Proven in practical applications, the HN Series Permanent Magnet Servo Motors have helped reduce wire breakage rates by more than 75% and increase yield rates to over 97%. They also deliver significant improvements in speed accuracy, dynamic response, and energy efficiency.
