Products Description

 

The PFA/PTFE Fluorine Lined Magnetic Drive Pump for Highly Corrosive Chemicals adopts a magnetic coupling to transmit power, achieving complete sealing with no leakage. When the motor drives the external magnetic rotor of the coupling, magnetic field lines pass through the gap and containment shell, acting on the internal magnetic rotor, enabling the pump rotor to rotate synchronously with the motor without mechanical contact torque transmission. As the liquid is completely contained within the isolation shell, leakage is eliminated, reducing contamination, saving energy, purifying the environment, and protecting the health and safety of production line workers.

 

Product Features

 

  • Pump casing liner, impeller inner rotor, and containment shell are molded from pure F46/PFA material, ensuring no impurity deposition, making it ideal for handling high-purity, highly corrosive chemical liquids.
  • Outer casing is made of ductile cast iron or stainless steel, providing excellent mechanical strength and resistance to heavy pipeline loads.
  • Flow passages are lined with F46/PFA, offering smooth hydraulics, reduced friction loss, and higher efficiency.
  • Pump shaft, bearing sleeve, and dynamic/static rings are made of sintered silicon carbide (SSiC), featuring high hardness, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance.
  • Special lubrication design of the bearing sleeve bore improves cooling and heat dissipation during pump operation.
  • Containment shell is reinforced with an imported PPS cover, allowing the pump to withstand higher system pressures while reducing eddy current heat.
  • Utilizes high-performance rare earth permanent magnetic materials for superior coupling, preventing slippage under large flow conditions and ensuring reliable operation in corrosive environments.

 

Applications

 

The BM-F Series Fluorine-Lined Magnetic Drive Pump is suitable for transferring corrosive media such as acids, alkalis, and oxidizers of any concentration below 100℃ (standard performance), without damage. It is widely used in industries such as chemical, petroleum, electrolytic processes, electroplating, aluminum foil, chemical fiber, fertilizer, pharmaceuticals, and for handling toxic, highly corrosive, flammable, explosive, precious, and radioactive liquids.

 

Monitoring & Protection

 

Although magnetic drive pumps effectively solve leakage issues in industrial fluid handling, they may be affected by unstable process conditions during operation. Therefore, protective devices are recommended.

  • Dry-run Protection Device: Prevents faults caused by lack of inlet liquid, insufficient flow, or cavitation-induced vaporization. When working current falls continuously below the set limit, protection is triggered with an alarm and power cut-off in ≤10 seconds. Includes overvoltage, undervoltage, phase imbalance, and phase-loss protection.
  • Flow Monitoring: Protects the magnetic drive pump by monitoring the flow in the main circulation loop.
